KIM ARNEY (SHE/HER)

PRESIDENT / CEO

Kim is the founder and owner of 4TwentyBookkeeping and has over 30 years of financial expertise. With a passion for empowering businesses, non-profits, and individuals, Kim has honed her skills across industries including healthcare, construction, retail, real estate, and more. Her approach is rooted in creating efficient, collaborative, and informative financial solutions, ensuring her clients are equipped to make sound decisions and achieve their goals.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Kim earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Central State University. She currently shares her expertise as an adjunct accounting professor at North Central Texas College and teaches QuickBooks Online in collaboration with Texas Woman's University’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs program.

Kim has lived in five states, and she and her husband, Samuel, have been married for 38 years. Together, they have two grown children, Julian and Blair. Kim loves traveling, dancing, visiting museums, volunteering at local events and non-profits, and having as much fun with life as possible.

SAMUEL ARNEY (HE/HIM/HIS)

Director of Sales

Samuel Arney brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in sales development, leadership, and customer service to his role as Director of Sales for 4Twenty Bookkeeping. Beginning his career in 1996 with Westec Home Security, Samuel quickly rose to the position of General Manager, overseeing operations across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. His focus on customer satisfaction and team development has been a hallmark of his career, consistently driving success and growth.

Samuel’s career spans multiple industries, including facilities maintenance, electronics, diagnostics systems, and home security, where he has excelled in managing teams, building client relationships, and delivering results. He holds a BS in Electronic Technology from Bowling Green State University and brings his technical and strategic expertise to 4Twenty Bookkeeping, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and solutions.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Samuel is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Denton Lewisville Alumni Chapter), where he is deeply committed to community service. Outside of work, Samuel enjoys Formula 1 racing, playing free poker, and exploring new destinations through travel.

ERICA REESE (SHE/HER)

SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

Erica is 4Twenty Bookkeeping's Senior Bookkeeper; a seasoned bookkeeping expert and strategist with over a decade of experience specializing in complex auditing and accounting projects. Her expertise spans diverse industries, including medical, cosmetology, plumbing, equine and veterinary services, and real estate. Erica is known for her exceptional ability to help small businesses streamline their financial operations, enabling them to focus on growth and long-term success.

With a reputation for meticulous financial clean-up and preserving accurate records, Erica has also supported large corporations navigating intricate acquisitions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Forensics and Auditing from Kaplan University, reflecting her commitment to precision and integrity in every aspect of her work.
